The Loss and Efficiency Analysis and Research of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors for Traction Applications

An IPMSM with I2V type rotor topology structure is proposed, its loss, efficiency and torque are analyzed compared V IV type. Firstly, the optimized structures used to analyze no-load air-gap flux density waveform harmonic contents of IPMSM. The results show that THD smallest sinusoidal degree highest. Secondly, loss compared. Compared other two rotors, iron smallest. significantly less than rotors especially under deep weakening conditions. output different current angles, densities speed performance better rotors. this paper proposes a simple effective method optimize position diameter magnetic isolation holes by establishing parameterized model. ripple cogging further greatly reduced, magnet also effectively reduced. Finally, von Mises stress total displacement deformation working conditions verified finite element analysis. will not rupture, small enough avoid touch between stator rotor.
